Bendigo Health is involved in an initiative to bring Christmas cards to those in the psychiatric inpatient unit across Christmas and the New Year called “December Cards“.
Boxes of blank cards are available for writers or library goers to write messages of kindness or hope at the Bendigo, Eaglehawk or Kangaroo Flat Libraries. You can drop your card into the postbox provided after you’ve filled it in!
A small act of kindness can make a big difference.
Bendigo Health
I highly encourage you to participate.
You don’t have to head into a library — you can post cards directly to Bendigo Health if you’d like!
If you’re posting directly to Bendigo Health, use two envelopes: leave the card envelope unsealed so Bendigo Health can include a flyer in the card explaining the program. Place that envelope into a sealed postage envelope, and send it to:
Bendigo Health, MHPDU December Cards, PO Box 126, Bendigo VIC 3552
